£160,000 for Air Ambulance Services
We know that air ambulance charities have been busier than ever during the coronavirus pandemic.
Working with local air ambulance charities across Great Britain, Air Ambulances UK and Lions Club created a list of equipment and supplies that was needed by each charity in the fight against Covid-19 that could be funded by A Lions Clubs International Foundation grant of £160,000.
The equipment and supplies funded include adaptation to aircraft, PPE for crews, mobile connectivity devices and a thermal screening camera and monitoring system.
